Samsung and LG TVs run their own systems, Tizen and webOS, so the best-known Android players do not exist for them. IBO Player fills the gap.
How do you set it up?
- On the TV, open the app store (Samsung Apps or LG Content Store), search for IBO Player and install it.
- Open it. Write down the MAC address and device key shown on screen.
- On a phone or computer, go to IBO Player’s official website and choose Manage playlist.
- Enter the MAC address and device key, then add your playlist: the M3U URL, or Xtream Codes details.
- On the TV, close IBO Player and open it again. Your channels load.
What should you know about the activation fee?
IBO Player charges its own fee after the trial, paid to the app’s developer. It is separate from your IPTV subscription, and we cannot pay it for you. Look on the developer’s site for the current price.
Which problems are common?
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| “Playlist not found” | Retype the MAC address; capital letters and colons matter |
| Channels but no guide | Wait for the guide to load, or reload the playlist on the website |
| App closes on older TVs | Large line-ups can be heavy; ask your provider for a smaller playlist with only the groups you use |

Is IBO Player free?
It has a free trial, after which it asks for an activation fee paid to the app's developer. Check the current price on the developer's site; it is separate from your IPTV subscription.
Where do I find the MAC address in IBO Player?
It is shown on the first screen when the app opens, with the device key, and again in the app's settings.
Why does IBO Player show no channels after I added the playlist?
Restart the app fully: close it, turn the TV off at the remote and back on. Check that the MAC address was typed exactly as shown on screen.
