Live in the UK: UK Sports (at least 215 games) and TNT Sports (52)

Free to watch: BBC highlights of all 380 games

The 2025-29 Premier League deal changed the split: more games than ever are live, but they are still divided between two pay broadcasters.

Who shows what?

Broadcaster Games a season Typical slots
UK Sports At least 215 Saturday 5:30pm, Sunday afternoons, Friday and Monday nights, most midweek rounds
TNT Sports 52 Saturday 12:30pm and two midweek rounds
BBC (highlights) All 380 Match of the Day on Saturday and Sunday nights
Not live in the UK Saturday 3pm games The blackout

What does it cost to see every live game?

Sky with UK Sports from £35 a month plus TNT Sports at £30.99 comes to roughly £60 a month for a new customer on contract. Without a contract, NOW Sports at £34.99 plus TNT Sports is about £66.

How do you watch the Saturday 3pm games?

You go to the ground, follow radio commentary on BBC Radio 5 Live or talkSPORT, or watch the highlights that night. The blackout applies in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

What about the free highlights?

Match of the Day shows every game on Saturday nights, with Sunday games on Match of the Day 2, all on BBC One and iPlayer, for the cost of the TV licence.

Readers also ask

Why are Saturday 3pm games not on TV in the UK?
UEFA rules let each country protect a window to encourage people to go to matches, and the English football authorities use Saturday 2:45pm to 5:15pm. No Premier League game kicking off at 3pm on Saturday is shown live in the UK.
What is the cheapest legal way to watch the Premier League?
Match of the Day on BBC One costs only the TV licence. For live games, a NOW Sports Day Membership is £14.99, and TNT Sports is £30.99 a month.
Is every non-3pm Premier League game televised?
Under the 2025-29 deal, almost every game outside the Saturday 3pm window is shown live by UK Sports or TNT Sports.
