What rules do our pages follow?

  1. Answer first. The short answer is at the top, in under 75 words.
  2. Numbers need sources. Prices, rights deals, court cases and census figures link to where they came from, with the date we checked.
  3. No invented proof. No testimonials, ratings, user counts or uptime figures we cannot show.
  4. Say the risk. Pages about law, VPNs and free playlists say what can go wrong.
  5. British English, and prices in pounds, as UK readers pay them.

How do we use AI tools?

AI tools help us draft and proofread. Before publishing, a named editor compares each page with its sources and takes responsibility for it. Our build also checks every page automatically for US spellings and filler phrases.

How often are pages updated?

Prices and fixtures are checked before each update, and every page shows the date it was last checked. Rights deals are reviewed each summer before the football season.

Found an error?

Tell us by email with the page address and what is wrong. We correct factual errors within two working days and note the change date on the page.
