Why does my postcode matter for TV?
BBC One and ITV1 have regional versions with their own local news. Which one you get through an aerial depends on your transmitter; over the internet it depends on what the service carries.

Why does it say my area is on the edge of a region?
Postcode areas are large, and transmitter coverage does not follow their borders. Near an edge, your aerial may point to the neighbouring region, so you could receive either.
