How do you set a PIN?

App Where
TiviMate Settings → Parental control → set PIN, choose groups
IPTV Smarters Pro Settings → Parental control → set PIN, tick categories
IBO Player Playlist page on the website → protect the playlist; in the app, lock groups
GSE Smart IPTV Settings → Parental control

Which groups should you lock?

Adult groups, of course, and any film categories you are not sure about. Some parents also lock late-night channels and the series library on a child’s own device.

What is a family playlist?

A version of your playlist with adult groups removed at our end. Nothing on the TV can bring them back. Ask for it on WhatsApp or by email.

Readers also ask

Can I get a playlist without adult channels at all?
Yes. Ask us and we send a family version of your playlist that leaves those groups out.
What if my child knows the PIN?
Change it in the same settings menu, and use a family playlist, which cannot be unlocked from the TV.
Do the films in the library have age ratings?
Many show the original rating in their description. Lock the library too if you are unsure.
